December 2020
What a year 2020 has been! We apologise for the lack of news since Crufts.
Due to Covid -19 there have not been any actual dog shows in the UK other than e.g. online FaceBook virtual shows which have proved popular with some dog owners who are missing the show scene. Anyone can take part in these virtual shows and there are usually a varied selection of classes on offer, something for everyone, where you can post a photo of your dog to be judged alongside others in their class. A bit of fun for everyone and also with a chance of being awarded Best in Show!

All Club Members dogs have done an absolute sterling job over these 4 days (along with their owners of course!) and we couldn't be prouder of them all!

6th March 2018 - Brax is on tv!
At very short notice and the day before we were to travel up to Crufts in Birmingham to set up our breed booth for Discover Dogs we were asked if one of our WSSD could be taken to Broadcasting House in London to appear on the BBC NEWS channel in a live interview along with a Glen of Imaal Terrier, which was substituted for a Dandie Dinmont at the last moment. Photos below are of Brax with Bill Lambert (the KC representative) who was being interviewed while holding both dogs. Brax behaved impeccably without owners Mike & Lyn in sight and was made a big fuss of by various TV crew members. Later, according to the Kennel Club, his photo went viral on Buzz Feed making him No2 on a list of 27 of 'the best damn dogs on the BBC News! just being pipped at the post by a Labrador called Bounce. What a Star!
